You need an account to generate stories. You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration details, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Accounts are for a single person. Sharing credentials or reselling access is not permitted.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live to use YourFic. The minimum age for a YourFic account is [OWNER DECISION REQUIRED: minimum age to use YourFic — 13+ / 16+ / 18+].

YourFic includes an optional 18+ mode that you choose explicitly per story. That mode is intended only for adults aged 18 or over. By enabling it you confirm you are at least 18. YourFic never enables 18+ mode for you, and it is off by default.

YourFic is an AI-assisted creative-writing tool. You describe what you want to read — universe, characters, tropes, point of view, format and length — and an automated pipeline generates prose from your input.

YourFic does not provide editorial, legal, medical, financial or professional advice, and generated text is fiction.

• AI-generated content may contain factual errors, continuity problems, repetition, tonal inconsistencies or unexpected material.
• Similar prompts may produce similar output for different users, and output is not guaranteed to be unique.
• Generation may fail, time out, be truncated, or produce something you did not want.
• You are responsible for reviewing output before you publish, share or otherwise rely on it.

You are responsible for everything you submit: ideas, character details, original-character profiles, instructions and any other input, as well as for the stories generated from that input and how you use them.

You confirm you have the rights necessary to submit what you submit, and that your submissions do not break the law or these Terms.

Your use of YourFic must follow our Acceptable Use & Content Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Among other things, you may not use YourFic for illegal activity, harassment, fraud, sexual content involving minors, infringement of others' rights, automated abuse of the generation service, or attempts to bypass credit, payment or safety systems.

YourFic is an independent, unofficial fanfiction platform. References to third-party characters, fictional universes, names, trademarks, or other intellectual property belong to their respective owners. YourFic is not affiliated with or endorsed by those rights holders.

Fan works exist in a complex legal area that varies by jurisdiction and rights holder. Nothing on YourFic is permission to use someone else's intellectual property, and this disclaimer does not eliminate copyright or trademark liability. You are responsible for how you use and distribute what you generate. See our Copyright / DMCA Policy.

You keep whatever rights you have in the input you submit. As between you and YourFic, we do not claim ownership of the stories generated for your account.

Important limitation: the legal status of AI-generated text is unsettled in many jurisdictions, and material produced from third-party universes may be subject to other people's rights. We therefore make no representation that you own, or can register, enforce or commercialise, any generated output, and we grant no rights in third-party intellectual property. You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process and transmit your input and output as needed to operate the service, keep story continuity, provide support, meet legal obligations and enforce these Terms. We do not sell your stories.

YourFic's own branding, software and interfaces remain ours.

• Generations are paid for in credits. Depending on the format and length you choose, a generation costs 1 or 2 credits, shown in the interface before you submit.
• New accounts receive 5 free credits. Free credits are used before subscription credits.
• Basic is $9.99 per month and includes 25 credits per billing period.
• Pro is $24.99 per month and includes 75 credits per billing period.
• Paid plans are recurring subscriptions that renew automatically each month until you cancel.
• Credits are a service feature, not currency. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred or redeemed for money.

We may change, add, suspend or remove features, and we may change these Terms. We will make material changes visible on this page with a new effective date. YourFic relies on third-party AI and infrastructure providers, so we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free availability, and generation times vary.

You may stop using YourFic at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, abuses the credit or payment systems, or creates legal risk for us or other users. Where practical and lawful we will tell you why.

YourFic is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy or uninterrupted availability, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YourFic and [OWNER DECISION REQUIRED: legal business name] are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or lost goodwill arising from your use of the service or from generated content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing.
