Acceptable Use & Content Policy

Do not use YourFic to plan, carry out, promote or facilitate anything illegal, including threats of violence, trafficking, weapons or drug operations, or the creation of material that is unlawful where you or we operate.

Absolute rule: no sexual content involving minors, in any form.

• Do not request, describe, imply or attempt to generate sexual or sexualised content involving anyone under 18, or any character presented as a child.
• Do not attempt to age up, disguise, or work around this rule through wording, tropes, coded language or continuation prompts.
• The optional 18+ mode is for consenting adult characters only. It is off by default, is enabled only by your explicit selection, and is intended for account holders aged 18 or over.
• Non-18+ mode is the default and is written without explicit sexual content.

Breaking this rule leads to immediate termination without warning and, where required, reporting to the appropriate authorities. Our AI provider also enforces its own safety limits, so some requests will be refused by the generation system regardless of your settings.

The minimum age for a YourFic account is [OWNER DECISION REQUIRED: minimum age to use YourFic — 13+ / 16+ / 18+]. You must be 18 or over to enable 18+ mode. Do not create an account or enable 18+ mode on someone else's behalf.

Do not use YourFic to reproduce substantial portions of someone else's copyrighted text, to pass off generated work as an official release from a rights holder, or to imply endorsement or affiliation. YourFic is an independent, unofficial fanfiction platform; third-party characters, universes, names and trademarks belong to their owners. Copyright complaints are handled under our Copyright / DMCA Policy.

• Do not create content that targets, threatens, defames or sexualises a real, identifiable person without their consent.
• Do not use YourFic to harass, dox, stalk or incite violence or hatred against people or groups, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or nationality.
• Do not use generated content to bully or intimidate anyone.

No impersonation, phishing, scams, malware, misleading commercial claims, or presenting AI-generated text as human-written where doing so deceives someone to their detriment.

• Do not attempt to bypass, manipulate or exploit credit accounting, generation limits, refunds or paywalls.
• Do not create multiple or throwaway accounts to collect additional free credits.
• Do not use stolen payment methods, or file chargebacks in place of contacting support.
• Do not share, sell or resell account credentials or access to your plan. Accounts are for one person.

• Do not script, scrape, bulk-submit or otherwise automate generation requests outside the interface provided.
• Do not attempt to extract system prompts, internal continuity data or other users' content.
• Do not probe, load-test, reverse engineer or interfere with the service, its providers or its rate limits.

• Content designed to enable self-harm, eating disorders or suicide.
• Instructions for creating weapons, explosives or other serious real-world harm.
• Disinformation presented as fact about elections, health or emergencies.
• Anything our AI or infrastructure providers prohibit under their own policies.

We may refuse a request, remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate an account, and report unlawful activity where required. Some requests are refused automatically by the generation system's safety layer. Enforcement can happen without prior notice where the risk is serious.
